Music
Music is an art that puts sounds together.
In Music, we follow the Charanga Music Scheme, which is an award-winning, modern-day resource for primary music. The Charanga scheme is progressive and ensures that skills and knowledge are built up year on year from Reception to Year 6.
In our Nursery class music opportunities are provided through continuous provision (including our amazing outdoor music wall) and music is not taught as a stand alone subject - rather through high quality, child led and adult initiated activities.
For further information, please contact our Music lead Mrs O’Neill Edwards via the school office.
The lead governor for music is Rev Gillies
To see how these are built up and are progressive year on year, please see our Music long term plan and Music progression map.
