At Mendell Primary School we will provide a happy family atmosphere, where each person is valued and treated with dignity and respect. We will ensure a stimulating learning environment and a curriculum process, including assessment, to promote high standards of achievement. We will provide opportunities to foster each child’s intellectual, physical, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
More specifically we aim to:
Provide all children with a sound educational foundation through a broad and balanced curriculum, so that by the time they leave, every child will be literate, numerate and competent in articulating their knowledge.
Have the highest possible expectation that will promote continuous improvement within every aspect of each child‟s life at this school.
Prepare pupils for continuing education and life in the community; to encourage everyone to make a positive contribution to the society in which they live.
To promote Christian values within the school with regard to other faiths and cultures.
To extend the partnership of parents, pupils, governors, staff, community and external agencies by encouraging positive relationships and by working together.
